Midterm Exam:  Tuesday,  March 4, 2008

Final Exam:  Tuesday,  May 13, 2008  6:00-8:00 pm

Attendance:

You should attend all class sessions, except in the event of illness, emergency, or to accommodate religious beliefs or an official university-sponsored event. You are responsible for the material covered in class whether you attend or not. If you miss an exam for any of the aforementioned reasons, I may require documentation supporting your excuse. If an exam is missed and I determine the excuse to be valid, I will decide to either give you a make-up or excuse you from the exam. If you know in advance that you will be absent, you are expected to notify me; it may be possible to make arrangements for you to take an exam before the rest of the class. As for assignments, you should try to hand them in early if you know in advance you will be absent on a due date. Should you miss class unexpectedly for a valid reason, you may hand the assignment in late; generally, however, I cannot accept an assignment after it has been graded and returned to the rest of the class.
