Mark your calendar 10/6/15 from 5:30-7:30, UC 164. You won’t want to miss this workshop! Make the most of your college experience by participating in research/internships and other chances for innovation. This is the CS Department’s once a year event for students to learn about these opportunities and benefit from the advice of experts in the field. See flyer.
The Department of Mathematics would like to invite interested students to participate in a Calculus Problem-Solving Group. This is NOT a study session for any particular calculus course. Students work together to solve problems from the “Problems Plus” section of Stewart, as well as other interesting problems that can be solved using Calculus techniques. The minimum background is concurrent enrollment in Calculus II.
The group will meet on Tuesdays at 5:10 pm in the Math Learning Center (Laurentide). The first meeting of the group is September 22.
